Montanha Books is an independent multi-lingual publishers based in the Algarve, and our aim is to publish and promote authors and artists living in Portugal. Not all of our books are about Portugal, though many are. Some of our books make perfect beach companions for those on holiday, some are more demanding, while others are more practical and informative. All of our books make for engaging reading. We hope you will find something you are looking for - either to complement the turquoise sea and small fishing villages, or to find your way through the green eucalyptus mountains and explore the lesser known parts of the Algarve, or as presents to share with others. As well as paintings and books, we have greeting cards and calendars.
 
If you would like any of the books signed, drop us an email at orders@montanhabooks.com when you order and let us know who the book is for and, if available, the author of the book will sign it for no extra charge. Payment for all transactions is through Paypal. Please contact us if you would rather use another method of payment.
 
As well as tangible books, we are also in the process of digitalising. Books will soon be available as PDF downloads (suitable for most e-readers including Sony) and many are available from Amazon as Kindle editions. We also have a travel and a short story section from where you are welcome to download for free stories and memoirs about Portugal and other countries, and an events page for information about literary events in the Algarve.
